Running models on your own computer or peer-to-peer is free, always. You only ever pay when you choose a premium model on the PearPie Network, and during the pilot, that's a simple pay-as-you-go credit system.

How pricing works

The basic idea is simple: when a model runs on your own computer, nothing about it costs us money, so it's free. When you use a premium model on the PearPie Network (Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral and others), those models run on rented GPUs that cost real money to serve. That part you pay for.

Today, you do that with credits: top up a small bundle when you want to, and each premium message uses some credits depending on the model and the length of the response. As PearPie grows we may add recurring options too, for casual users and teams who'd prefer a simpler monthly arrangement, but the credit system isn't going anywhere either.

About credits

Credits cost between €0.018 and €0.025 each, depending on the bundle size. Bigger bundles are cheaper per credit. Credits don't expire and aren't tied to a monthly cycle. You top up, you use them at your own pace.

How far does a credit go? It depends on the model and how long the back-and-forth is. As a rough guide, a typical short conversation with a premium model uses single-digit credits. The taster bundle (200 credits) is enough to get a real feel for what the PearPie Network offers.

About pilot pricing

PearPie is in its pilot launch. The bundles below reflect our launch pricing. Anyone who joins during the pilot keeps fair, transparent rates as the product grows. Credits already in your balance always remain at the price you bought them for.

Worth knowing before you buy

Refunds: if something goes wrong, write to legal@pearpie.ai and we'll review it. Your statutory EU consumer rights apply on top. Payment identity: when you buy credits, your payment goes through Stripe and your public key is linked to a Stripe customer record. Free use of PearPie remains fully pseudonymous. Don't rely on a single device: credits are tied to the private key on your device. The simplest way to avoid losing them is to link a second device, so your key (and chats) sync directly between them.
