Local models on your own device, and peer-to-peer between devices you trust, cost nothing. No credit card is needed to start, and there's no cap on how much you use them.
How pricing works
When a model runs on your own computer, nothing about it costs us money, so it's free. When you use a premium model on the PearPie Network, those models run on rented GPUs that cost real money to serve. That part you pay for.
Both ways of paying fill the same credit balance, and a credit buys the same thing either way. What differs is how the credits arrive and what you pay for them: monthly plans get the best rate per credit, one-time bundles cost a little more. Plan credits arrive monthly and roll over, up to twice your monthly allowance. One-time credits never expire. The two work side by side: you can top up in a busy month, cancelling a plan never touches your one-time credits, and unused plan credits remain usable for one month after your final billing period.
How far does a credit go?
It depends on the model and how long the back-and-forth is. Lighter models use fewer credits per message; the biggest models use more. Credits cost between €0.018 and €0.025 each. Larger plans and bundles cost less per credit, and monthly plans get the best rates. The €5 taster bundle (200 credits) is enough to get a real feel for what the PearPie Network offers.
The plans and bundles on this page are our launch pricing. If prices change as the product grows, we'll say so clearly and in advance, and credits already in your balance always remain at the price you bought them for.
Refunds: if something goes wrong, write to legal@pearpie.ai and we'll review it. Your statutory EU consumer rights apply on top. Payment identity: when you buy a plan or credits, your payment goes through Stripe and your public key is linked to a Stripe customer record. Free use of PearPie remains fully pseudonymous. Don't rely on a single device: credits are tied to the private key on your device. The simplest way to avoid losing them is to link a second device, so your credits (and chats) sync directly between them.
